An Atlas of Almost

Choosing the present

Original story concept

Sofia restores maps for a living, repairing other people’s journeys while keeping her own life carefully contained. Daniel records the sounds of cities and rarely stays long enough to feel at home. When an unusual commission brings them together in Lisbon, they discover that their paths have nearly crossed for years. Their search for those missed moments becomes a walk through hilltop gardens, quiet cafés, and changing ideas of belonging. The coincidences are lovely, but the future requires something more deliberate: two people deciding where, and with whom, they want to be.
